Squaring Blocks

Aids for gluing cases and drawers.

If you’re gluing up a case or a drawer, how can you be sure it’s square? We’ll show you how to make L-shaped clamping blocks that solve this problem.

  1. A brilliant idea have the table saw but will have to buy a band saw to make it easier although the internal waste cut is no problem the waste I can make smaller ones.

  2. I’m confused, if you set the saw up to cut finished width how did you make the third and last cut without moving the fence in?

  3. Good job, nice and easy way to make squaring blocks. I will make 4 this size and 4 smaller for small jewelry boxes.

    I used a forstner bit to open the inside “L” before cutting on the band saw in case I place the “L” outside of my project. Just a thought.
